Big Update Brings New Features to Pokémon Duel

The Pokémon Company International has released a brand new update for their Pokémon strategy game, Pokémon Duel, which brings a number of new features including Mega Evolution, and much more.

Pokémon Duel has received a number of new features that are set to shake things up a bit. The first big addition is the ability for Trainers to customise their own match rules, this will allow for much fairer gameplay for those who don’t want to face a particularly difficult opponent. Halls have also been added to the game which will have their own set of rules outside of the regular league match rules, with these Halls being periodically rotated to keep the game fresh.

Team-based matches are also coming to the game in which Trainers can join one of three teams during events in order to win rewards based on the overall team performance. Think Pokémon Go, but in board game form.

For those who have been playing the game for sometime, there’s good news as the level cap is being raised from 5 to 10 allowing Trainers’ Pokémon figures to become much more powerful. This also falls into the addition of Mega Evolution and Shiny Pokémon which are also being added to the game, which offer more powerful and rarely coloured Pokémon, respectively.

Pokémon Duel is available now in the App Store and Google Play absolutely free.
