Rockstar has revealed that four brand new versions of their hit crime RPG, LA Noire, are set to arrive later this year.
Coming November 14, players will be able to dive back into the post-world war 2 era Los Angeles along side Cole Phelps and Ralph Dunn as they investigate a series of escalating cases based on real-world crimes that plague the city. In total there’ll be three new console versions of the game, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and of course Nintendo Switch.
The biggest announcement out of all of this however is the addition of a brand new game, LA Noire: The VR Case Files, the first time Rockstar has developed a VR game. This VR version of LA Noire will feature seven select cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for HTC Vive.
The console editions of the game will feature the base game and all of the content released thereafter with “a wide range of technical enhancements” improving both gameplay and visuals. As for the Nintendo Switch version, players can experience a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.
