Recent retailer leaks have suggested that SEGA have some big plans to re-release a handful of their more popular titles on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
A number of European retailers have added listings for a number of classic SEGA titles including a Bayonetta and Vanquish bundle as well as a re-release of Shenmue 1 & 2, again as a double pack.
These listings appeared on Czech retailer Alza as well as Slovak retailers such as GetGame and Heureka. At time of writing some of these listings have been removed, however others are still there offering pre-orders for the yet-to-be-announced titles.
It’d make sense that SEGA re-released Bayonetta and Vanquish, especially considering they both landed on PC fairly recently, what’s more, PlatinumGames have recently teased a Bayonetta 1 and 2 double pack for Nintenod Switch. As for Shenmue, with Shenmue 3 on the horizon it’d make sense that SEGA re-released those titles to players could play catch-up.
Unfortunately we have little in the way of official confirmation, however if these packs are legit, we can expect to hear something more pretty soon.
