Bandai Namco have released another trailer for the latest instalment of the long running Ace Combat series which showcases some of the new features and aircraft that will be available in the game.
The Ace Combat series is one of the most successful flying games out there, and has always focused less on realism and more on the fun had to be with aerial combat, unlike many other flight sims out there.
In this latest trailer, they are showing off the “post-stall” manoeuvre, a move where you can evade an incoming enemy missile by pushing the aircraft to its limits and purposefully stalling it. After the missile flies past, you can flick it swiftly back into position safely and launch your counter attack. Overall, it looks like a fun new addition to the player’s arsenal.
Additionally, the trailer also showcases two new aircraft in the game. These are the Japanese F2-A fighter and the American F-35C, both advanced aircraft in service today. These add to the already announced roster, which includes the famous F-16 and F/A22 Raptor, both of which are fan favourites of the series.
