Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming adventure title, Assassin’s Creed Origins which takes a keen focus on… Sand?
Yep, sand. It’s Ancient Egypt, there’s sand everywhere. It’s in your sandals, it in your loin cloth. You can’t get away from the stuff. According to the new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins, even vital organs are plagued with sand. I’m already itching just thinking about it.
Anyway, the new trailer is here, doesn’t reveal much other than plenty of sand and a moody looking Assassin walking into it. Check it out:
In other Assassin’s Creed Origins news, Ubisoft announced a brand new game mode coming to the game which will take away all of the combat and conflict and offer something a little more… educational.
This new mode is called Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt and will see players exploring the diverse landscapes and learn more about the history through audio guided tours. Players will be able to free-roam the entire 3D recreation of Ancient Egypt without any worries of being attacked or pressured by time limits.
“From the beginning the Assassin’s Creed franchise has always explored pivotal moments in history, from the Third Crusade to the Italian Renaissance, and this year Ancient Egypt.” said Jean Guesdon, Creative Director of Assassin’s Creed Origins. “It’s a dream come true for us to offer Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt, an educational mode built specifically for people to learn more about the incredible history of Ancient Egypt through the interactive experience made possible via a video game.”
This mode will be coming as a post-release update completely free in “early 2018”. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available on October 27 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
