Bluehole and PlayerUnknownh as detailed PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) upcoming September update and it’s a big one.
PUBG‘s September patch has made it onto the test servers with a huge changelog in tow. One of the biggest changes is the addition of a new foggy weather condition, which you can see below, as well as the addition of a new town, and some weapon changes.
The update which has currently made its way over to the test server, should be there until the end of the week, and if testing is successful will likely roll-out over the weekend. However Bluehole has refrained from offering a release date.
The new foggy weather condition will join rain however where rain masks the sound of footsteps a little better, fog will have an affect on visibility, something many people will likely enjoy as they’re skulking around finding loot. Speaking of loot, the game will see the addition of the 5.56mm Mini-14 (above) and the Tommy Gun will find its way into the world rather than in air drops.
The user interface will also see a number of little changes such as teammate stance status, as well as the ability to change crosshair colours, as well as the ability to quickly mark positions on the map without having to open it up. There’s also the addition of a new town East of Stalber.
The full patch notes can be found over on the PUBG website.
