Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Direct confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be released December 1.
In addition to the launch of the game, a themed Nintendo Switch controller will also be launched so that fans of the series can help themselves to a double dose of Xenoblade in December after having to wait all year for a release date.
The game was confirmed during Nintendo’s Switch reveal event at the beginning of the year and since then all we’ve known is that it was coming this Christmas. Thankfully we don’t have to wait too long now that the early December release date is set.
The game will feature main character Rex and his companion Pyra as they search for Elysium, a world that is equivalent to heaven. The remainder of humanity live among the cloud on giant titans.
