Call of Duty: WW2 Season Pass Includes Classic Map

Activision has revealed that players who purchase the Season Pass for Call of Duty: WW2 will be rewarded with an exclusive map, one which appeared in the first ever Call of Duty game.

Another year, another exclusive map, this time it’s not being given to those who pre-order the game, instead it’ll be free to those who purchase the game’s Season Pass. The interesting thing about this exclusive offer however, is that it’s another classic map, this time from Call of Duty, which was released back in 2003.

Carentan is one of the more well-known multiplayer maps from the early Call of Dity games, and now it’s finally coming to a more modern title. This is a remade version of the original map, though from the small image we’ve seen of the map, it looks largely unchanged.

The map will be available to Season Pass owners at launch. The Season Pass costs around £50 and will give players access to all four future DLC pack releases. There’s currently no word on whether the map will be released outside of the Season Pass, but if past releases are anything to go by, it probably will after about six months.

Call of Duty: WWII launches for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 5.
