People have been waiting for a new Gran Turismo game for some time now, and it’s finally here and people are flocking to stores to buy it. But how long will that last exactly?
Last week saw a number of new releases causing a pretty big shake up in the UK Gaming Charts this week. The first big event was GT Sport landing in first place ahead of FIFA 18 which has been dominating the charts the past couple of weeks.
The last Gran Turismo game was Gran Turismo 6 which launched on the PS3 back in 2013, and already GT Sport has done better in terms of week-one sales.
With a total of four new releases from Tuesday last week, two managed to land in third and fourth place; South Park: The Fractured But Whole and WWE 2K18, respectively. South Park managed to match its predecessor in terms of week-one sales, however WWE 2K18’s sales are down, but revenue is higher due to the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Warriors which launched on Nintendo 3DS and Switch debuted in sixteenth place, and ELEX falls in twenty-fifth place. Finally, Rogue Trooper Redux finds its place in thirty-seventh place.
