At New York Comic Con (NYCC) this past weekend, AMC revealed that an upcoming crossover episode is in the works that’ll see both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead come together.
This crossover event is set to take place next year and, according to The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, will see “one character that is going to go from one show, that I will not name, to another show, that I will not name,” adding that “This is a huge event in the world of The Walking Dead.”
Of course, with Fear The Walking Dead acting as a sort of prequel to the events of The Walking Dead, it’ll be interesting to see how exactly this crossover will take place. Though we could easily see characters from The Walking Dead appear in Fear The Walking Dead as more innocent and unspoiled versions of their future selves.
This is all speculation, however, I guess we’ll have to wait and see who appears where as we move into 2018.
Season 8 of The Walking Dead is set to begin on October 22. Season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead is currently under way, with two episodes remaining until its finale on October 15.
