During Sony’s Paris Games Week pre-show, the company announced that Guacamelee 2 will be “coming soon” to PlayStation 4.
Guacamelee 2 is set to launch on PlayStation 4 next year and will feature four-player co-op throughout the entire game. It’ll also see a number of new new levels, enemies, bosses, gameplay mechanics and more including Eagle Boost, a new hooking mechanic which will see Juan attach and fly through various boost points throughout the level.
There’s also the addition of Super Chicken! An expansion of the first game’s chicken form offering more abilities making it a much more unique experience.
The game has also a new redesigned lighting system which will make the most of the graphical capabilities of the PS4 and the PS4 Pro.
Guacamelee launched on PS3 and PS Vita back in 2013 and then found itself launching for PC, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The first game also saw a re-release in the form of the Gold Edition and the Super Turbo Championship Edition.
