Hand of Fate, the unique, slightly unusual but brilliant action game/card game is getting a sequel. Hand of Fate 2 will be released on November 7 and it looks as though it will build on the premise of the first game.
Set at a tabletop, the first game sees you playing a card game with a mysterious figure. It’s plays out like a pen and paper RPG, but with a twist. That twist being that any combat you find yourself in plays out like an action game.
Different from almost any game, it’s great to see Hand of Fate getting a sequel given that the industry often rewards regular entries into stale and similar feeling franchises.
The trailer appears to show many of the mechanics from the first game, but with a slightly more streamlined combat system.
