Dying Light developer Techland has announced that fan-favourite community-lead challenge, Hyper Mode, will be coming back to Dying Light.

From 12pm PDT / 8PM BST, players will be able to dive into Hyper Mode which includes a number of changes. These changes involve giving players the physical power to literally punt zombies across the map throughout the entire event.

This time the challenge is for players to achieve a total enemy kill count of six million and they have until October 8 at 11:30pm PDT (3:30am BST) to do so.

“These community events are not only good excuses to bring together our loyal Dying Light community to reach a collective, challenging goal but also to reward them with unique items,” said CEO, Techland, Pawel Marchewka. “We can’t wait to kick off Hyper Mode again to see whether the kill count goal of six million can be achieved.”

In addition to the return of the game mode, PC players can dive into the action for much less as the game is on sale at 60 percent off.
