Good news Pokémon fans, Nintendo and the Pokémon Company have just released some interesting details concerning Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

The primary focus of the announcement was the new Pokémon Necrozma which takes control of Solgaleo or Lunala depending on which version of the game fans will be playing. This allows the new Pokémon to transform into; Dusk Mane Necrozma, a psychic/steel type or Dawn Wings Necrozma, which is psychic/ghost type.

These new forms also feature their own unique moves and the standard form of Necrozma will be receiving one as well. The moves for Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings are dependent on what moves the two legendary Pokémon know. If your Solgaleo knows Sunsteel Strike then Dawn Mane Necrozma will have an attack called Searing Sunraze Smash and if Lunala has Moongheist Beam then Moonraze Maelstrom will be available to Dawn Wing Necrozma. All of that might sound overly confusing but at the same time very awesome.

In addition to all of that legendary/Z-move craziness, the Rotum Dex will be returning with new special features. As players bond with it throughout the game they can get unique items through the Roto Loto feature; the only example given was EXP increases but surely there is more. If a player becomes extremely close to the Rotum Dex then it will grant the ability to use an extra Z-move in battle, which sounds absolutely insane.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon both launch on November 17. If you haven’t figured out what system the games will be on by now, then you have other problems to worry about my friend.
