‘The Predator’ Motion Poster Shocks Fans

At the Brand Licensing Expo in London earlier this month, a poster for The Predator (2018) was spotted at Fox’s display stand. Over the weekend, the motion poster was released on the official Predator app, and promptly uploaded to Youtube by fans.

The motion poster follows the design of the poster spotted in London at the Brand Licensing Expo. The poster at the Expo featured lightning in the shape of the Predator’s helmet crackling over a still-unidentified city. The motion poster shows the lightning crackling in and out, and finally freezing on the image in lightning, along with the movie title and release year. It runs for about twelve seconds altogether.

This app is available for both Android and iOS, and encourages fans to interact with each other over forums, special challenges, and fan content submissions, in the hopes of unlocking special features and bonuses related to the franchise. This app may be a worthwhile download for anyone who wants information on or bonus content about the new Predator movie before their friends.

If you don’t have the app, you can watch the motion poster below via Youtube channel Furious Trailer.

The Predator is a sequel to the previous entries in the Predator franchise, rather than a reboot of the series, and it will be released on August 3, 2018.
