Well, we’re back here again. FIFA 18 has launched and will be dominating the charts until Call of Duty: WW2 launches next month. That’ll be when the battle for Christmas number one truly begins.
With a total of five versions for players to choose from, it kind of comes as no surprise that FIFA 18 is in the top spot. That being said, PS4 sales completely obliterated the split, with 60% of sales being on Sony’s platform. Interestingly, Switch players only really accounted for less than 3 percent.
Destiny is down in second place this week followed, oddly enough, by Forza Horizon 3, which is interesting because Forza Motorsport 7 launches tomorrow.
NBA 2K18 falls down to fourth place, while GTA 5 climbs up to fifth. Bandai Namco’s anticipated car game, Project CARS 2, which found itself in second place, has fallen down to seventh place this week, a massive drop. Though that’s hardly unsurprising as the game hasn’t had the best reception this time around.
The only other new entry in the charts this week is Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony which lands in thirty-sixth place.
