Brian Michael Bendis is probably a name you know well if you read Marvel Comics over the past 15 years or so, he’s been involved in some of the biggest stories in the Marvel Universe. Well, now he’s making the move over to the other side signing exclusively to DC Comics.
Bendis began to make waves with Ultimate Spider-man back in the early 2000s and was one of those last ditch shake-ups at the company that saved it from bankruptcy as Bendis dragged the web-slinger into the 2000s. He was pretty much the architect of Secret Invasion and Dark Reign, storylines that dominated the later part of the 2000s and had the widespread effect on the creative output of all books set in the Marvel Universe.
Though things have changed as Marvel’s rival publisher, DC Comics have announced that Bendis has signed exclusively with them. Check out DC’s tweet below:

Not to just for comics, but a multi-faceted deal that could see him work on DC’s other media output like TV, movies, and even video games.
Bendis isn’t the only Marvelite to jump over the fence and see what is going on in DC’s garden with artist John Romita Junior working for the company on books such as Superman and some of the Dark Knight returns line of books.
Make mine DC I guess?
