Bungie’s Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Twitch stream last night brought with it loads of new information regarding their upcoming first DLC for Destiny 2. Most notably, Raid Lairs and the return of Heroic Strikes are on the horizon.
The Heroic Strikes will be harder versions of the original strikes (like in Destiny 1) and offer better gear upon completion. In addition, new weapon quests and a level cap increase to 330 were announced. Mercury apparently has some interesting content to sift through as well.
The Infinite Forest, while not procedurally generated, will let players transition between THREE timelines; Past, Present, and Future. Players will be able to switch between these timelines at will from specific trees throughout the forest. This in turn will change the look, feel, layout and, well everything, everything will change with the shift in time.
What is really interesting is the fact that side quests and NPC’s will also change with the forest! Finally, Lost Sectors now won’t be available until after finishing the story. However, this game has been out since September, if you haven’t finished it by now, why are you even reading this article bruh??
The Raid Lair, ‘Eater of Worlds’, will be shorter than the actual raid, but harder and involve it’s own enemies, puzzles, and a spiffy new boss! The Lair is in Calus’ ship still but the lower section, totally separate from the palace the actual raid is in. Supposedly, Bungie has at least one more Raid Lair for us that will release with the second expansion.

Thankfully we won’t have to wait long for the new expansion. Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris drops December 5. For everything Destiny 2 related keep checking back with us here at n3rdabl3, we’ve got you covered!
