AMC has announced which character from The Walking Dead will be making the crossover to Fear the Walking Dead, and it isn’t who you’d expect.

The announcement came during last night’s Talking Dead which saw Chris Hardwick joined by Kevin Smith. We initially heard of this crossover earlier this year at New York Comic-con, though who’d be making the jump wasn’t revealed.

So who’s it going to be? Around the time of the initial announcement many thought that we’d once again be able to see Michael Cudlitz reprise his role of Abraham Ford, however this isn’t the case as instead Lennie James’ Morgan will be appearing in Fear the Walking Dead’s fourth season.

It’s currently unknown how this crossover will take place as the fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead is currently in the middle of shoots in Austin, Texas. How Morgan found his way north of the Mexican-American boarder is beyond me as most of The Walking Dead is set in Georgia.

The Walking Dead‘s eighth season is currently under way and airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on AMC. Fear the Walking Dead returns for its fourth season in 2018.
