Fortnite’s latest patch is now live and is set to include a number of new items for both its Battle Royale and Save the World modes.
Epic Games has released a brand new patch for Fortnite which is set to add new items and fixes to Battle Royale and Save the World. One of the notable additions to Battle Royale is the smoke grenade that’ll be found in containers and floor loot that’ll give players a bit of cover when dashing between locations.
Two new leaderboards have also been added to Battle Royale; A global leaderboard, and a scoreboard. The former highlights the top 50 players sorted by wins, the scoreboard on the other hand measures the total experience gained.
As for the Save the World mode, Fortnite’s campaign which can be accessed by purchasing one of the game’s Founders Packs, a number of new weapons have been added to the game. There are nine Vindertech weapons to choose from, including a Slammer hammer, Sever axe, and a Slicer sword.
The update also brings with it enhancements for the Xbox One X which Epic Games says “pushes the game’s visual settings comparable to what you’d see on a PC set to “Epic” quality.”
The full patch notes can be found over on Epic Games’ website.
