Bethesda has revealed new information about the next expansion to be released for their collectible card game, The Elder Scrolls Legends.
The new adventure takes players to ruins of Sotha Sil’s Clockwork City, which players may have visited in TES Morrowind and can do so again in the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online expansion. Return to The Clockwork City not only offers a 3 act adventure with 35 new missions but also 55 new cards based on Sotha Sil’s mechanical cyborg creatures and a couple of new mechanics.
The first new mechanic being introduced in the Clockwork City is Treasure Hunt. Cards with the Treasure Hunt ability will either buff the next item you draw or will have a checklist of items. Drawing all of them will result in another effect being triggered.
Treasure hunting cards will breathe a new life into item based decks that make the most of cards like Plunder or Crown Quartermaster to draw more items.
The second new ability is Assemble. Clockwork warriors, or Factotums, will give you a choice between two bonuses when played. That bonus will then be applied to all other Factotums in your deck.
We’ll also see some familiar faces in the Clockwork City. Laaneth from the first adventure makes a return to aid the Forgotten Hero in his battles.
Return to The Clockwork City will be released on November 30 and can be pre-ordered right now on all platforms. Players can buy the 3 acts as a bundle at $19.99 or buy each act separately with real money or in game gold.
