Warner Bros has released the first trailer for the upcoming action-packed film adaptation of Midway’s arcade hit, Rampage.

Yep, here we have a video game movie adaptation we never asked for starring everyone’s favourite actor at the moment, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Pretty much everything he’s touched recently has turned to gold, though we’re yet to see whether the new Jumanji movie is a disaster or not.

Anyway, here it is, the first trailer for Rampage starring Johnson as Primatologist Davis Okoye who prefers to hang out with silverback gorilla, George, rather than actual human beings. However after an experiment goes wrong, George becomes larger than life and decides to take his anger out on North America.

Thus begins an adventure that sees Okoye battling his way through America to find an antidote whilst also trying to make sure no harm comes to his now giant companion.
