According to rumours, Rocksteady is preparing to announce a Super Man game and that it’ll be gracing the cover of this month’s Game Informer magazine.
An anonymous user over on 4chan’s /v/ board has revealed that Rocksteady, best known for the Batman: Arkham video game series, is set to announce a Super Man game that’s “scale and the ambition of the game are massive”. It’ll also apparently be set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham games, which is interesting.
It’s been a good while since we’ve seen anything from Rocksteady. The last game they released was Batman: Arkham VR which launched on PSVR back in June last year, so it seems like a decent time for the company to unveil their next project.
It’s definitely worth taking this information with a pinch of salt as the poster claims this information comes from their girlfriend who is employed at Rocksteady. We’ll know for sure whether this is legitimate as the poster also claims that it’ll be this month’s Game Informer cover story which is set to go live on November 6.
This isn’t the first time a Rocksteady Super Man game has made the rounds on the Internet. Rocksteady themselves have teased that their next game will have people “losing their minds”, so I’m sure fans of the Arkham series and DC’s cast of super heroes are praying for this to be legitimate.
