crea-ture Studios announced this week that their Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming skateboarding sim, Session, has been pushed back to November 21.
Over on their Facebook page, crea-ture Studios announced the news that they needed just a little more time to get everything ready for the Session Kickstarter campaign. Because of this, the campaign has now been pushed back to November 21. This news may be a bit of a downer, but it also came with good news.
To thank fans for their patience over the past couple of years, the developers decided to release the Kickstarter demo early. In order to grab a copy of the game all players have to do is head on over to the studio’s website, fill out their email, and download a zip file containing the demo.
Initially, the demo was downloaded so much that it became unavailable. According to crea-ture the demo saw over 1,000 downloads in just two hours. Things seemed to have settled a little now and the demo can now be downloaded.
Session (formerly Project Session) has been in the works since 2016 and aims to be the next big skateboarding sim. While it has received many comparisons to Skate, Session differs by offering more of a sim aspect to the controls by taking the skaters feet and stance into account.
If you’re a fan of EA’s Skate series, I would definitely recommend giving the Session Kickstarter demo a try.
