Sony has announced when it’ll be kicking off its PlayStation Experience 2017 keynote and has added that it won’t be as big as other events from past years.
Sony is set to host its PlayStation Experience keynote on Friday, December 8 at 8pm Pacific, which is 11pm Eastern, and 4am on December 9 for those of us in the UK and 5am in Europe. During the event fans can expect game updates and “a few surprises” according to PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss Shawn Layden.
The presentation will however be a little more tamer than recent years according to Sid Shuman, director of PlayStation social media.
“On Friday night, we’ll have a special presentation with opening remarks, special guests and game updates to talk about,” he said on the PlayStation Blog. “We’re not calling it a Showcase given that we’re coming a few weeks off of Paris Games Week, but we’ll have some cool content to share.”
What we know for sure is that the event will see Media Molecule’s Dreams as well as Sucker Punch’s upcoming title, Ghosts of Tsushima.
PlayStation Experience 2017 takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, December 9-10.
