Nintendo has revealed that Super Mario Odyssey, which launched on Nintendo Switch last week, has surpassed 2 million copies sold.
It looks like the Nintendo Switch is doing incredibly well for Nintendo. Not only have the upped their predicted sales to 14 million by the end of fiscal year, they’ve been releasing absolute bangers for the console.
First there was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which helped give the Nintendo Switch its starting momentum (the game itself is currently sitting at a little over 5 million copies sold), now we’ve got Super Mario Odyssey which has become one of the highest rated games critically in a long time.
Now, according to Nintendo the game has surpassed two million copies sold in just three days. Nintendo revealed the news to its investors in a presentation following its earnings call.
That’s pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
