Chinese company Tencent have announced their own PUBG-style battle royale game that’ll be landing on mobiles.
Having already purchased a stake in PUBG Inc.’s parent company, Bluehole, as well as a controlling stake in Fortnite developer, Epic Games, it looks like Tencent want a bigger piece of the battle royale pie and have announced Glorious Mission, a brand new mobile game which is essentially PUBG: Pocket Edition. It’s first trailer has also launched, and, well… it looks familiar?
Everything in the trailer has everything its bigger PC counterpart offers, 100 players, parachuting, vehicles, looting, and squad matches. The only difference is the PS One visuals.
You guys aren't going to believe this.
It looks like Tencent are making a battle royale game.

Tencent hasn’t revealed when Glorious Mission will launch, but it has revealed that a beta is coming soon. Though we’re unsure whether it’ll be coming to western audiences.
