Headup Games has announced a brand new atmospheric adventure game, Trüberbrook, which has landed on Kickstarter this afternoon in the hopes of bringing this stunning looking game to life.
Trüberbrook by German developers btf (who German locals may recognise as the creators of Neo Magazin Royale) doesn’t really need an introduction. All you’ve got to do is open your eyes and take a look at this game which has been completely hand made.
With similarities to Wallace and Gromit creators Aardman and the also-crowdfunded adventure game Armikrog, Trüberbrook features scenes and characters built completely by hand in real life.

For those who actually want something to read, Trüberbrook is an adventure game set in cold-war Germany where players take the role of American physicist Hans Tannhauser as he dives into the mysteries of the village of Trüberbrook whose story has been described as Twin Peaks meets X-Files.
The campaign is live now and the developers are looking to raise 80,000 Euro to make the game a reality. There’s a proposed release of late 2018 for Windows, Mac, and Linux, as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Head on over to the Kickstarter campaign to pledge, where you can grab a copy of the game for just 25 Euro.
