Life is Strange: Before the Storm’s forthcoming bonus episode will see Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch reprising their roles as Max Caulfiled and Chloe Price, respectively, following their absence from the new three-part series.
Let’s be honest, Rhianna DeVries has done an exceptional job of voicing younger Chloe following the voice actors strike which meant that Ashly Burch couldn’t reprise her role as the character she helped bring to life. But for fans of Burch, there’s some good news on the horizon.
Square Enix and Deck Nine have announced that in the bonus episode “Farewell” which is available in Life is Strange: Before the Storm‘s Deluxe Edition, Telle and Burch will be coming back as Max and Chloe.
“The team here were thrilled to hear the news that both Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch were able to come back together again to voice Max and Chloe”, said Jeff Litchford, Vice President, Deck Nine Games. “We were really happy with Rhianna DeVrie’s performance as Chloe in Before the Storm and the fan reaction to her has been great, she’ll continue to work closely with us as part of a really close team we have created.”
This exclusive bonus episode will have players taking the role of a young Max which, according to the press release “may very well be the last time that you will get to see Max and Chloe together”. Very ominous. While we don’t know too much about Life is Strange‘s Season 2 we do know that it’s currently in the works over at DONTNOD.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm consists of three episodes plus the bonus episode, Farewell. Two of the three episodes are available now with Deck Nine promising more news on the third episode, soon.
