It was announced on Capcom Unity today that the Devil May Cry HD collection will be making its way to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
This comes as welcome news to anyone who has been waiting to get into DMC, or people who played the reboot and wants to see what the rest of the series is like. For those who haven’t played the originals the HD collection will be the perfect opportunity to experience the excellent badass action experience that is Devil May Cry.
The HD collection will include Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3 with updated graphics for the modern day and a boost to technical performance, with the game playing at 60fps. Perfect for getting off those super stylish combos as you slay waves of demons.
But this news is even more exciting than it may seem. You see, Devil May Cry already has a HD collection that was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2012. So why release it again? (other than for an easy cash grab…) I’m willing to bet Capcom wants to raise awareness of Devil May Cry to get everyone hyped for a new release. Recently there was a leak detailing a new entry for the series. At the time it sounded too good to be true. After all it came out of nowhere and had no sources, but then we hear about this and we can put 2 and 2 together and get a speculative 4.
For now though, here are the facts about the DMC HD Collection. It will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 13, 2018 for sweet price of $29.99.
