Far Cry 5 Delayed a Month

Far Cry 5 publisher, Ubisoft has recently announced that their much anticipated release will be delayed along with some of their other projects.

Despite the release date moving from February 27th 2018 to March 27th 2018, this one month difference has the potential to really make a difference.

Since their work on Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ubisoft has been vocalizing how they’d like to put more work into writing and development and so far, the delays and extra breaks has paid off. Just take a look at how Origins turned out!

Like Origins, Far Cry 5 is part of an already pretty established series in the Ubisoft archive but both games seem like quite the leap from previous entries in their respective series.

While previous Far Cry games have taken place in exotic or fictitious lands, the fifth entry is looking to be take place in Montana with the antagonist being a religious cult looking to convert or kill. While it’s looking like it’ll have all the things we love about Far Cry games, it’s also promised some new things like more in-depth customization, interaction with dogs and even flying air crafts. Because of all these new and really exciting things coming to the game, it might not be a bad idea to wait just one month longer if it means Far Cry 5 will be released as perfect as it could possibly be.

Delays in the past of AAA games have only helped the game succeed even more (think FF15) and I can’t imagine it being any different for this one!

What do you think about the Far Cry 5 delay? Are you excited to get your hands on the game? Let us know in the comments down below!
