Life is Strange publisher, Square Enix, has today announced that DONTNOD Entertainment’s critically acclaimed episodic adventure game, Life is Strange, is coming to iPhone and iPad.
“Setting a new benchmark for the adventure genre on mobile,” according to a press release, this mobile version of Life is Strange is set to bring the same great game found on consoles and PC to mobile thanks to the folks over at Black Wing Foundation. The mobile version of the game will also come with some added bonus features too including Life is Strange iMessage stickers, and an in-game photo mode.
Life is Strange follows Max Caulfield as she returns to Blackwood Academy only to find that things aren’t quite as she left them. Through a series of events, Max discovers that she can manipulate time and as players journey through the game, will use these powers to change the outcome of some of these events – but at what cost.
“Everyone here at DONTNOD is really excited to share the adventures of Max and Chloe in Life is Strange with a new audience on mobile,” said Oskar Guilbert, CEO at DONTNOD Entertainment. “We welcome new players to Arcadia Bay’s community and look forward to discovering the story choices that they make during their stay.”
Life is Strange is set to land on mobile on December 14, 2017 with episodes 1-3. Episodes 4 and 5 will follow in Q1 2018.
