The Nintendo Switch has surpassed 10 million sales worldwide, Nintendo has announced today.
Following its launch in March, the Nintendo Switch has continued to surpass all expectations and has completely flown off of the shelves. Now, with it being holiday season there’s even more demand for the Switch, so much so that Nintendo has today confirmed this new milestone.
The Nintendo Switch has come a long way since March. Not only is it once again a completely innovative console offering both home console and portable playability, but it’s home to two of the most critically acclaimed titles, Super Mario Oddysey and Game of the Year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
There are also plenty of other top titles available including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, among others.
“We are thrilled that fans all across Europe and around the world are enjoying the gameplay experiences that only Nintendo Switch can offer, whether it be the newest adventures with Super Mario and Link, or unique games such as 1-2-Switch, where players look at each other and not the screen,” said Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata.
With 2018 on the horizon, I’m sure there are still plenty of big things planned for the Nintendo Switch.
