PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) fans have a treat in store at this year’s The Game Awards as PUBG Corp. and PlayerUnknown will be showing off the game’s desert map for the first time.
PUBG is set to launch into version 1.0 at the end of this year which will bring with it a number of new features such as vaulting, new vehicles, new weapons, and most of all, a brand new map for players to get killed in. Up until now we’ve only had a brief glimpse of the new map through rendered screen shots and a leaked version of the game’s map.
According to The Game Awards host, Geoff Keighley, PUBG’s desert map will be showcased front and centre with a worldwide gameplay reveal. What can we expect? Well, sand, obviously, but it’ll likely be a fast-paced trailer with some fancy cut aways, some tense music, and lots of shooting – I assume.
