Continuing this incredibly slow January for new game releases, Call of Duty: WW2 has managed to climb back into first place after being dethroned by both FIFA 18 and GTA V.

Call of Duty: WW2 is almost on par with the series’ longest running chart topper, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, if only it can hold on for another week. That being said, with a shortage of new releases, it may do exactly that.

Last week’s victor, GTA 5 has fallen to third place, being pushed down by FIFA 18. Despite dips in sales across the board, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is doing pretty well for itself climbing up into fourth place being followed by another Switch top seller, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The only new release this week was Digimon: Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory which debuts in tenth place this week, a place higher than its predecessor, Cyber Sleuth, which landed in eleventh place last year.

Here’s the full run down:

  1. Call of Duty: WII
  2. FIFA 18
  3. GTA 5
  4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  5. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  6. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
  7. Assassin’s Creed Origins
  8. Super Mario Odyssey
  9. Star Wars Battlefront II
  10. Digimon: Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory
