Not too long ago there were hints that EA would be releasing a remastered edition of the excellent open world racer Burnout Paradise. Now, with a trailer for the game released it’s been confirmed.
In a press release Criterion mention that Burnout Paradise Remastered will not only feature graphical upgrades, running at 4K and 60fps on PS4, Xbox One X and PC but that it will also include all DLC previously released for the game. That’s including the Big Surf Island expansion which gave players access to a whole new island to explore. This is a first for PC players as it was previously a console exclusive.
Here’s a list of everything included in the new edition:
- Burnout Paradise Base Game
- Big Surf Island
- Party Pack
- Burnout Bikes
- Boost Special
- Legendary Cars
- Cagney Update
- Cops & Robbers Pack
Burnout Paradise Remastered will be released on March 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One. For now there’s no mention of a Switch version, despite it also being rated for a release last year.
On top of that, EA Access players will be able to play it a few days earlier on Xbox One where it will be available from March 9. PC Players will have to wait a little while longer. Their version is coming “later this year” but there’s no set date yet.
