Q.U.B.E. 2 developer, Toxic Games, has announced that their upcoming first-person puzzle game is set to land on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 13.
Q.U.B.E. 2 is set to bring something for fans of the original as well as new players as the game is set to feature an all-new cast of characters as they navigate a new alien world.
“We’re very proud of how Q.U.B.E. 2 has shaped up – no pun intended – after nearly five years of development,” said Dan Da Rocha, Managing Director at Toxic Games. “When we made the first Q.U.B.E. we were still students, but after a half decade of real industry experience we’ve put together the kind of premium product we’ve always dreamed of. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did making it.”
Q.U.B.E. 2 will see players assume the role of Amelia Cross who finds herself abandoned on a strange planet. Fortunately, she also comes equipped with a special pair of gloves that allow her to manipulate the environment, as she searches for a way home. What’s more, Amelia is not alone as another stranded scientist, Emma Sutcliffe, is also stranded.
Communicating via radio, Amelia and Emma must together work out how to find a way home solving a series of over 80 puzzles across 11 chapters.
