Bethesda’s horror sequel, The Evil Within 2, has received a brand new update this week that’ll bring a first-person mode into the game.
If you thought The Evil Within 2 wasn’t spooky enough, now you can experience the thrills and spills of Sebastian Castellanos as he attempts to get to the bottom of mysterious organization MOBIUS, this time in first person. Get face-to-face with the horrors that are still haunting him in the most surreal way possible.
“A lot of players like playing horror games in first-person, so for those who want to see some of the game’s situations through Sebastian’s eyes, it’s a really neat experience,” said Tango Gameworks’ producer, Shinsaku Ohara. “I think exploring Union in first-person makes the scale feel even bigger than it does when you’re in third-person. Also, being able to see our environments and enemies up close allows players to get an even better look at how much effort went into their designs.”
The update introducing first person mode is available now on all platforms. All players need to do is head on over to the game’s settings and switch it on.
