With the immense success of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Ubisoft’s long standing relationship with the series, it isn’t a shock at all to think that a new title would be in the works.
According to “sources”, the most notable being from Liam Robertson, a writer for Comicbook.com, a new Assassin’s Creed title could be coming in Fall of 2019. Like most leaks, this one should be taken with a grain of salt, seeing as how nothing has been confirmed from Ubisoft themselves yet.
On top of this the setting will apparently be set in Greece this time around. Apparently, Greece was supposed to be included in this past years Assassin’s Creed Origins, but I guess Ubisoft liked the location so much they decided to make it it’s own game.
Sadly, no location or era has been disclosed, but Greece has had some remarkable ages that would certainly fit nicely as a back drop for an assassin that likes to climb shit and cut bitches. The Bronze or Byzantine ages would be a sweet setting for sure though, so if you’re reading this Ubisoft.. make that shit happen.
If the game’s scope is anything like Origins this would mean the title would be skipping the Switch console. That doesn’t mean that Assassin’s Creed won’t find it’s way onto the impressive new console, I just don’t see it being as big of a game if it does.
As good as Robertson’s track record is, especially when it came to the Assassin’s Creed Origins reveal, it is very possible this leak could be true. However, nothing has been confirmed yet, so again, take this with a grain of salt.
We here at n3rdabl3 will be sure to keep on this until any kind of confirmation has been announced though, so be sure to check back with us at some point in the future. Who knows, maybe Gage will eat some more spicy shit in excitement of the announcement!
