Psyonix has announced that the big Spring Update, also known as the Tournaments Update, for Rocket League will be arriving on all platforms on April 3.
The Tournaments Update is set to bring the anticipated feature that’ll allow players to create tournaments without having to leave the game. In addition, the update is set to bring a number of quality of life updates to the game, as well as improved Nintendo Switch performance and visual updates.
The update will also bring some new notification icons to signal different online connection issues during online matches which will help players understand the issue a little better and hopefully fix whatever the problem may be.
Rocket League‘s Garage will also be receiving some improvements such as item stacking, filtering, searching, and sorting options. Customisation is also getting some improvements offering more shades to the primary colour palette.
Finally there’s some additional content in the form of the Samurai Battle-Car which will be available as a limited drop inside the new Triumph Crate.
