PES 2019 has leaked online and it looks like last week’s announcement that Konami and UEFA would be ending their 10-year partnership won’t be such a big deal.
Evo-Web has managed to grab some information from an accidental listing over on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store for PES 2019. According to the listing, the game is set to launch on August 30, and will feature David Beckham from his England days on the cover of the Legend Edition.
The listing also revealed that Konami might be throwing around wads of cash for this entry as the game will feature a “huge addition of licensed leagues.”
What this means is currently unknown but there’s a chance that despite losing the Champions League license, we could be seeing more leagues from other countries featuring in the game. It does seem unlikely that Konami would be able to snatch the Premiere League from EA, but stranger things have happened.
There’s also mention of a completely reworked MyClub as well as 11 new skill traits, better shooting mechanics, and a new stamina mechanic called “Visible Fatigue”.
