Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled. Fox announced last night that the hilarious comedy series has come to an end on its network and fans are outraged. Fortunately it might find a saving grace with Hulu, Netflix, and more.
Although the series seemed to be in its prime, Fox announced this week that Brooklyn Nine-Nine wouldn’t be renewed for Season 6. Since the news the show has been a trending topic across the web with many fans and celebrities calling out the network for making a bad decition.
Fortunately Deadline is reporting that since the news several other outlets have been interested in picking up the series which stars Andy Samberg and Terry Crews. According to the publication Hulu, which is the series SVOD home, is looking to be the most likely choice, and conversations have been taking place about the show moving to the service.
In addition, there’s also word that TBS could also pick up the series as they grabbed the off-network rights to the comedy. Netflix is also another potential spot though this is apparently a pretty long shot considering the shows commitment to Hulu. Finally, Deadline also hint that NBC could also pick up the series.
As it stands right now, however, is the show is well and truly cancelled, and until there’s news otherwise, it’ll remain that way for the foreseeable future.
