Epic Games has announced that their killer battle royale game, Fortnite Battle Royale will be coming to Android this summer following its successful release on iOS.
Fornite Battle Royale has been making waves on mobile earning shed-loads of cash from its in-game cosmetic purchases. Currently it’s only available on iOS, though soon it’ll be coming to Android, the developer has announced.
Epic didn’t give a specific date outside of “summer” however it did detail that a couple of changes would be coming to the game including the ability to customise the HUD, allowing players to place the on-screen controls wherever they prefer.
Voice chat is also set to come to the game, as well as stat tracking and other improvements on the game overall. Again, Epic Games didn’t state when these changes would be arriving to the game.
Fortnite‘s Android release will likely start with a closed beta to ensure players get the best experience possible, much like the iOS launch, followed by a full release soon after.
