Warner Bros. have released the first official trailer for their upcoming animated feature film, Teen Titans GO! To The Movies and it pokes fun at some other super heroes.

Do you remember when a long-running TV show’s sometimes used to get feature-length movies released on the big screen? Good examples include Rugrats, Star Trek, and The Simpsons. A good future example includes Bob Burgers.

So Teen Titans GO! began life as a series of short skits that DC aired during an animation block that eventually got made into feature-length TV series. Bonus points time, did you know Teen Titans GO! was based on anime style cartoon called Teen Titans from the 2000s?

The difference in both shows is the first show was a bit more serious but had a lighthearted Pokemon vibe and the second one is a bit more whacky like Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Teen Titans GO! To The Movies follows them trying to get a movie made whilst making fun of DC’s hit and miss cinematic output and taking swipes in general at the Superhero movie genre.
