During Ubisoft‘s financial call last week the company teased information about what they have in store for E3 2018.
While the company announced that their pirate game, Skull & Bones, would be delayed until 2019, the company still expects to release three major titles this year. Of those titles we already know about The Crew 2 and The Division 2. More information about these two titles will be unveiled at E3 2018.
As for the third game, Ubisoft teased that it’d be a “tent pole” title for the company, and if the earlier Wal-Mart Canada leak is anything to go by, it’ll be a new Assassin’s Creed game. The retailer did try to cover its tracks by saying that it was purely speculation, however one of the leaks, Bethesda’s RAGE 2, was announced last week.
It’ll be interesting if Ubisoft does unveil another Assassin’s Creed title for this year as the company decided to ditch the game’s annual release schedule. There’s also plenty of speculation around a Splinter Cell title being announced as well as another Watch Dogs title so it could be one of those too. I guess we’ll just have to wait.
E3 2018 takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from June 12-14.
