Clothing company UNIQLO has unveiled a clothing line celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the release of the first issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is a Japanese manga magazine that has run several of the most popular series over the years, such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, and many, many others. According to UNIQLO’s teaser trailer for the event, original drawings from these various series will be gracing their new line of t-shirts.
The trailer shows off shirts from all of the above-mentioned series, which are available online and in store. Some of the series not featured in the short trailer but have shirts up online are Kinnikuman (Ultimate Muscle in the US), Hell Teacher Nu-be, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Hunter X Hunter, Kimengumi, Kochikame, and Saint Saiya. There are even shirts featuring the magazine’s logo and mascot! It seems as if shirts are available in kids and unisex adult sizes.
Only some of the shirts of this line are available at this time; more designs will be released on May 25.
