Following another leak, Ubisoft has decided to bite the bullet and officially announce that another Assassin’s Creed game is in the works: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Yesterday a leak surfaced online of some merchandise for an unannounced Assassin’s Creed title, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. We’d previously heard of the name in past leaks and rumours, which suggested the game would be based in ancient Greece. Now, it seems those leaks and rumours were true.
In a fairly blunt tweet over on the Ubisoft Twitter account, a short promotional video was unveiled confirming the name Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as well as revealing that it would indeed be at E3.

The video is short and sweet and shows one person kicking another off of a cliff, likely in reference to Spartans kicking the Persian messengers into the well, a scene most famously seen in the movie 300.
I guess we’ll have more information later this year at E3 2018.
