Note: VIP tickets for this event have sold out. Regular tickets are still available at this time.
Since 2003, CT Horrorfest has been running every fall in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Like many other years, there will be regular passes available, and there will also be VIP tickets available that include a special event for you Halloween fans out there.
The VIP bonus on top of the regular weekend passes is breakfast with some of the cast of the first Halloween film: Nick Castle (The Shape, that is, Michael Myers), PJ Soles (Lynda), and Nancy Kyes (Marion). The breakfast is on the morning of the festival, September 15, and begins at 9:30 AM. You also get a picture with the cast that will be signed. You’re free to bring your own items to be signed as well, but there will be an additional charge for those, according to each actors’ fees.
There are 15 VIP tickets on sale for $225, and for a big Halloween franchise fan, there’s no question that it’s worth it. And it’s worth noting that Nick Castle reprised his role as the Shape–er, Michael Myers–in the new Halloween movie, so maybe if you’re lucky you’ll get a sneak peak into what’s coming for the series.
CT HorrorFest is a one-day horror festival which is being held at the Danbury Ice Arena in Danbury, CT this year. The event runs from 11 AM to 7 PM on September 15. Along with being able to meet some of the Halloween cast, there will be other guests, such as Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster), and Bill Mosely (House of 1000 Corpses). There will also be screenings, panels, costume contests for kids and adults, and vendors.
Both the VIP and regular tickets are available here; it seems a PayPal account is required to order them. For more information on this event, be sure to check out CT HorrorFest’s official Facebook and Twitter pages as well.
