E3 2018: Metro Exodus Release Date Announced, Gameplay Trailer Revealed

A new gameplay trailer was revealed for Metro Exodus at this year’s Xbox Press Conference, and announced that the title will be releasing on February 22, 2019.

If that date sound familiar, that’s because it’s the same date Anthem, Bioware’s latest IP is set to launch. Both titles are set to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The new trailer showcases Metro Exodus’ improved graphics, which is a nice, modern take on the originals (take note, Bethesda) and showcases a variety of the game’s weapons and customisation. A big focus is on the game’s desolate setting as well as showcasing gameplay elements, such as the ability to use ziplines, as well as the use of a lighter to illuminate and to burn up cobwebs.
