After a livestream on Twitch where Bethesda teased something new coming from the Fallout universe, many fans speculated a remaster of 3 or New Vegas. But after the release of an all new teaser trailer, Bethesda revealed Fallout 76.
There’s been a debate of whether the game will be a traditional RPG like previous Fallout games or an online game. While Bethesda has been tight-lipped about any other details and hinting that more will be revealed come E3 2018, sources close to the project have confirmed that the game will be in fact online!
While the gameplay is still changing and obviously quite the change from past installments to the series, the sources have said we can look forward to familiar RPG elements, building, and of course quests and a rich story line!
What we know of Vault 76 so far is from small refrences in Fallout 3 and 4. Vault 76 isn’t apart of the many vaults that were created for the sole purpose of experiments. Instead, the trailer teases a relatively normal looking dwelling underground and shots of a poster that says ‘reclamation day’. If you add up the math an know your Fallout lore, reclamation day falls on 20 years after the nuclear disaster, making it way earlier in time than any of the previous games!
